Season 1 Matchday 1 - 14/08/2012
The season began with summer inactivity still present in HaxLeague. The Flying Peacocks, B-FEW and Narcissus were all there to pick up default wins over 420, Golden Lions, and Divine Intervention.
The fourth and final game of the matchday had two teams with two players each who were desperately trying to get a third so they can play or get a default win. It was close but neither team managed to get three in time.

Season 1 Matchday 3 - 21/08/2012
This matchday started with a game full of goals. The ever-present B-FEW beat The Flying Peacocks by 6 goals to 1. B-FEW are now the early table toppers and will be the favourites to win the league.
As the summer holiday inactivity carries on, this game was followed by two default draws between 420 and Divine Intervention as well as Five Minutes Left and Golden Lions.
Haxball Revolution ended the matchday by being there to pick up a default win over Narcissus, who were not here for the first time which allowed B-FEW to settle in at the top of the table.
An inactive player clearing process will soon be starting, the aim of which is to have no inactivity by mid-September.

Season 1 Matchday 5 - 28/08/2012
Following the return of HCAFC from holiday and heavy advertising of the matchday, the league started picking up activity, with over 20 members on the chat at certain times. Five of the eight teams had three players and two league matches were played (as well as a friendly).
The matchday started with Divine Intervention taking on The Flying Peacocks. Peacocks took the lead in this game, however after later equalising, Divine Intervention scored within 10 seconds from time to clinch a late win.
This was followed by Five Minutes Left getting a default win over B-FEW, who failed to turn up for the first time.
420 then played Haxball Revolution. 420 scored twice early in the game to get a 2-0 lead, however HR rallied to win the game 3-2 and get all three points.
The matchday was capped off by Five Minutes Left playing a game vs a HaxLeague IV side, which was won 2-1 by Five Minutes Left.

Season 1 Matchday 6 - 31/08/2012
After the encouraging signs of the previous matchday, this was an inactive one with only three teams being there. Haxball Revolution took a default win over B-FEW, who, from being the most active team, are now facing problems due to retirements and player inactivity. This default win means that Haxball Revolution have gone top of the table with 11 points.
Divine Intervention continued their return to HaxLeague with a 2-1 win over the now very-active Five Minutes Left.
Some league news, Golden Lions are in process of being replaced by another team captained by Pain and should be ready for next Tuesday.

Season 1 Matchday 7 - 04/09/2012
Matchday 7 saw the return of some activity back to HaxLeague, with two out of four scheduled games being played, and five teams being present.
The matchday started with Five Minutes Left playing The Flying Peacocks. The game was tight at 2-2 at half time, however The Flying Peacocks won the game 4-2 with two second-half goals.
This was followed by Narcissus drawing by default with B-FEW. Both of these teams are facing major activity problems and have both agreed to get replaced in favour of more active teams, which will be done in the next week.
Haxball Revolution were once again there to pick up a default win over Divine Intervention. This win takes Haxball Revolution four points clear at the top with 14 points.
The matchday finished with 420 playing against the newly formed Brizzles team, who replaced the Golden Lions last week. 420 had no defensive players in the line-up which affected the defence, and lost the match 4-0, in which Breezy scored a hat-trick. Brizzles will be hoping to start moving up the table now that they have active players.

Season 1 Matchday 9 - 11/09/2012
Today was by far the most active matchday HaxLeague has ever had, with seven out of eight teams turning up. This was achieved after a big process that saw three inactive teams replaced.
The first game was The Flying Peacocks vs Haxball Revolution. Because HR have had to quit the league, Peacocks picked up a 3-0 win by default in this fixture.
Five Minutes Left then played a new team, TotalFPL. TotalFPL made a good debut to HaxLeague by getting a 3-1 win and going third in the table. The team showed that they can be very active by having ALL six players online for the match.
Divine Intervention then showed some much-needed activity by being there to play a dramatic match against Brizzles, in which they threw away a 2-0 lead to go 3-2 down, but then came back to win 4-3 in the final minutes.
The matchday was concluded by 420 playing another new team, Chee-Z. Although the game could have gone either way, 420 made individual mistakes and eventually lost the game 4-1. This great start by Chee-Z takes them to second in the table, and they will now be thinking about their chances of winning the title, especially since the top team, Haxball Revolution, are to be replaced.

Season 1 Matchday 10 - 14/09/2012
The high levels of activity carried on from the previous matchday, with seven out of eight teams turning up once again.
It began with Chee-Z hoping to carry on their good start to the league by beating The Flying Peacocks. Chee-Z took the lead in this game, but eventually The Flying Peacocks came from behind twice to seal a late 4-2 win.
Divine Intervention then failed to turn up for their match with 420, which meant that 420 got their first win of the season.
Brizzles then played out a 1-1 draw against Five Minutes Left, in a game that could have gone either way.
The matchday was finished by a new team, All Stars, playing TotalFPL. TotalFPL took the lead in the first half, and kept the score at 1-0 to claim all three points, which takes them to the top of the table with 16 points.

Season 1 Matchday 11 - 18/09/2012
After the big increase in activity in the previous weeks, HaxLeague finally had a day where eight out of eight teams turned up and played.
To start the matchday there was a top of the table clash between The Flying Peacocks and TotalFPL. Peacocks scored in the first half, but TotalFPL equalised in the second to end the match 1-1. TotalFPL have stayed at the top of the table.
Brizzles then had a game against All Stars. There was controversy in this game regarding lag but eventually All Stars came out the 3-2 winners, to go joint-top in the league table.
At the other end of the table 420 had a bottom-of-the-league clash with Five Minutes Left. The game was close until the scoreline became 4-3 and 420 finished it by scoring four more to make it 8-3. This is the highest-scoring game that HaxLeague has ever had.
B-FEW then made a return to HaxLeague with a win over Chee-Z. B-FEW were forced to leave the league a month ago, however now that they are back they will be looking at their chances of winning it.

Season 1 Matchday 12 - 21/09/2012
The second consecutive matchday that had all eight teams playing had some interesting and unexpected results. The day kicked off with B-FEW playing The Flying Peacocks. The first half was goalless, but then Peacocks took the lead in the second half - however eventually they lost the game 4-2. A special mention goes to the Peacocks, who agreed to give B-FEW a goal back after they scored a lag goal.
Five Minutes Left then played Chee-Z. It was looking like yet another defeat for the struggling 5ML after they went 2-0 down early in the match. However they managed to rally and pulled off a shock 5-3 win, which gives them a very valuable three points, and puts Chee-Z in the bottom half of the table, where it is now very tight.
The next game was 420 against the joint-top All Stars. Both sides featured new players and although the game was fairly close, 420 managed to win this game 4-2. This means that both of the bottom two won games against teams considerably higher in the table.
The day finished by Brizzles playing out a 1-1 draw against TotalFPL. The league leaders took the lead in this one, however eventually Brizzles managed to equalise to earn a point. TotalFPL have stayed at the top of the table, but B-FEW are now level on points and will be looking to go in front soon.

Re: S1 Match day summaries
Season 1 Matchday 13 - 26/09/2012
The thirteen matchday of the season again saw an eight-team turnout. This means that the total team turnout for the last five matchdays is 38/40 and the inactivity is truly over.
The day began with The Flying Peacocks playing against Brizzles. Peacocks were able to win this game by 3 goals to 2, and have gone top of the table, level on points with B-FEW. With 2 games left to play, both of these teams will now be thinking about the league title.
On-form 420 then played the ex-league leaders TotalFPL, and despite going 2-0 down early on, managed to pull the game back and eventually won 5-2. This means that 420 have carried on their great run of 12 points out of a possible 12, which took them from bottom of the table, to mid-table.
Chee-Z then played All-Stars. Last week Chee-Z let in five goals and lost the game, however this game they found some form and won this game 5-1. They have however stayed in the bottom half.
Five Minutes Left then played joint-top team B-FEW. Five Minutes Left were playing defensively and it worked very well for them, until the last minute. B-FEW scored a goal in the last minute of the game. HOWEVER, 5ML pulled off a shock by equalising with just 15 seconds to go. This means that Five Minutes Left have risen from the bottom spot in the league.

Season 1 Matchday 14 - 28/09/2012
Once again a great turnout of all eight teams as The Flying Peacocks began the matchday with a convincing 2-0 win against Five Minutes Left. This means that The Flying Peacocks are top of the table with just one matchday to go.
B-FEW however are not far behind and they beat All Stars 5-0 in a dominant team performance that saw z1c0 score 4 goals and go joint-top in the top goalscorers list.
A 1-1 draw was then played out between Chee-Z and TotalFPL which rules Chee-Z out of the title race and makes TotalFPL unlikely contenders, although it is mathematically possible.
420 played Brizzles at the end of this matchday in a bottom-half clash. 420 were on great form with 4 wins in 4, and 17 goals in the last 3. They showed this by going 2-0 up, however Brizzles managed to score twice to earn a point that lifts them off the bottom of the league.
The final day looks set to be exciting as B-FEW and Peacocks battle for the first HaxLeague title. Both of these teams have difficult fixtures against TotalFPL and Chee-Z who are third and fourth. TotalFPL still have a small chance of winning the title too.

Season 1 Matchday 15 (14) - 02/10/2012
This is it, the final day of the season. It was absolutely unbelievable and easily the most dramatic day HaxLeague has ever had.
The day began with Peacocks just above B-FEW on goal difference, by 3 goals.
Peacocks strenghtened their position by winning 5-1 against TotalFPL. It was a solid performance and a convincing win. It meant that B-FEW had to win 8-0 to win the title.
Before the title-deciding B-FEW game, Brizzles and 420 both pulled off very emphatic wins. Brizzles beat All Stars 7-0 and 420 beat Five Minutes Left 8-0. This adds fuel to the top goalscorer competition.
B-FEW then had a game against Chee-Z. They were 4-0 up by the 2nd half, and were looking like they would challenge for the title. Their display was very very good, but 8 goals is a big ask, and they ended up winning 6-0. This means that they have just missed out on the title, just 1 GD behind Peacocks.
Congratulations to Peacocks, the season 1 champions!
