Mid-Season League Review
HaxLeague has now reached mid-season. All teams have played seven fixtures and have seven still to play. Here is a report of the teams.
420 were the strongest team in pre-season, winning friendly and pre-season cup games 5-0, 5-1, 4-1, 4-1, and 2-1. However when the season started the activity of 420 rapidly dropped as nearly every member was away on holiday. After HCAFC got back, changes were made to the team, who have turned up for the last three games, losing two and drawing one. This leaves 420 bottom of the league table with just 3 points after 7 fixtures.
B-FEW were a very strong team with some of the best UK players using false names. They won their first three in a row to be the clear leaders and favourites for the title, however after Secret Octopus (CircleBoy) retired, the team had to leave the league. They are currently in the process of being replaced.
Golden Lions were an inactive team and got replaced by Brizzles after five games. Since then Brizzles have climbed up to joint-second in the table with two wins in a row. The team is captained by Pain and has a good level of activity.
Divine Intervention have been a quite inactive team, despite Dooms' best efforts to gather players in recent games. For now they are still in the league, but a lot of that will depend on them making the next few games.
Five Minutes Left have undergone major player changes throughout the season, with only the captain, Song1, being a part of the original team. However the team now has a nice list of players and a high level of activity, and definitely bring a lot to this league.
Haxball Revolution currently sit at the top of the table after B-FEW were forced to quit. They have been here for most of their games, and were still unbeaten after 6 games, when their activity problems began. The team are now unsure if they will stay in HaxLeague and could be being replaced in the next few weeks.
The Flying Peacocks are an active team captained by Gavin Peacock with a good player list that have brought a lot to HaxLeague. This team have so far had a mixed season and currently sit in mid-table with 9 points.
Narcissus were replaced by TotalFPL, led by Chillada. TotalFPL have brought six new players to HaxLeague in a day and will be hoping to have a good second half of the season.
The title is currently anyone's to win. The clear leaders are Haxball Revolution with 14 points, however because they are facing problems and could be being replaced, there are six teams just below them who have between 8 and 10 points. The HaxLeague title could still be won by anyone.
